LoginTurn heads with this luxurious-looking shawl. Danish medallions, Brooks bouquet, and plain weave work together in harmony to create bubbles of texture on your loom.
Bring a little Gatsby-esque glamour to a showstopping handwoven shawl. The hand-manipulated metallic lace “bubbles” were inspired by bubbles rising in a glass of champagne. Brooks bouquet combined with Danish medallions creates art deco–inspired panels of delicate lace that form mirrored arcs at either end of the shawl while maintaining a stable fabric with lovely drape.
Editor's Note: This shawl combines several hand-manipulated techniques worked at the same time, which may challenge less experienced weavers. You will find it easier to weave if you have experience with Danish medallions and Brooks bouquet.
