LoginRelax in a flower patch without leaving your home with this large afghan woven and constructed entirely from pin-loom hexagons.
During late spring, many roadsides of North America’s Southwest are covered with fiery red and golden blooms resting on a sage-green background. The Indian blanket, or firewheel aster (Gaillardia pulchella), calls out to dreamers. This afghan, in the shape of a natural flower patch, is made of 100% cotton to provide a comfortable, soft cover that is just right for the time of year when you want to guard against a chill but don’t need the warmth that you crave during the winter.
