LoginThis runner, inspired by the bold colors of Fiesta dinnerware, is the perfect project for those cottons that have been accumulating in your stash. Embroidery floss holds the leno crosses for extra pops of color on the ends.
Sheltering at home during the COVID-19 pandemic inspired Peg to act on some fiber projects previously postponed by procrastination. One such project was a table runner for a friend with a new dining table. When Peg visited her home and saw the brightly colored Fiesta tableware displayed on a wall rack in the dining space, she found inspiration. She had red cottolin in her stash that complemented the brightly colored plates and was soon off with an idea: leno with bright picks of colorful embroidery floss holding the leno crosses.
