LoginMonet’s water-lily paintings provided the inspiration for this table runner. Margaret created the shimmery look of the water and plants by starting with one layer of a bulky, multicolored, bouclé yarn woven with either a teal-blue tweed yarn or moss green. Water lilies, created using the same formula, are scattered across the surface.
About Margaret Stump: Margaret Stump is the author of three books on pin-loom weaving. She most enjoys sharing this form of weaving with others, celebrating the idea that weavers, like knitters and spinners, can sit in a circle and create.
