I love Valentine’s Day. I think of it less as a romantic holiday and more as a good time to give some love to all the special people in your life. When I was a kid, that meant making special cards for all my friends. Now as a mom, it means making the day a little extra-special for my boys. As the editor of Easy Weaving with Little Looms, it means giving out a little something special to our All Access subscribers in the form of three sweet projects featuring the ultimate Valentine’s symbol: hearts.

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with weaving? Whether you plan to gift a handwoven heart to a loved one or use these projects as an excuse to spend some extra time at the loom, I hope you enjoy them! (Not an All Access subscriber? Find out more information on the program here.)

Rainbows and Hearts Baby Blanket by Gabi van Tassell

This pretty-in-pastel baby blanket by Gabi van Tassell is as clever as it is cute. While the blanket would have been gorgeous woven in plain weave, Gabi chose to add some pick-up hearts in the gray border hexagons.
