LoginThese scarves use the same yarns but switch them up, placing a self-striping yarn in the weft, above left, and the warp, above right. The result is a subtle horizontal color change in the first and a bold vertical stripe in the second.
These cotton and bamboo yarns are strong and next-to-skin soft. For a scarf with nice drape, it is important to place the weft with a medium beat, leaving little squares between the warp and weft. They will fill in once the scarf is taken off the loom and washed.
