Two colors of wool and a simple textured weave pattern combine to create these delightful starfish. Weave one for a sweet soft toy or create a whole constellation.

For these beautifully colored starfish, Deborah used Design Weave 4 from Loomette Weaves, an out-of-print book that is still available online. The pattern creates an interesting texture in both the solid-color and two-color versions. Use colors of starfish found in the ocean or colors to match your décor. The starfish make fun toys or lovely decorations used singly or in groups.

One of Gabi’s August Picks!

Why Gabi picked this design: “Make one star as a toy or many to decorate a wreath. Play with different yarn colors to mimic stars in the sky, starfish on the beach, or ornaments for the holidays.”
