LoginUse mineral-based mud dyes to dye your warp and weft and give these napkins their subdued, earthy palette with a fraction of the water (and work) of other dyes.
For her napkins, Elisabeth Hill was inspired by a natural cotton slub weaving yarn and the memory of seeing mud dyes at a weaving-conference booth. Made from natural minerals derived from the soil, mud dyes don’t require heat, need very little water, and will dye almost any fiber.
