LoginThis serene shawl combines a thoughtful pick-up lace pattern with the ethereal mix of Tencel and silk/ merino yarns. Wrap up in it for a quiet night at home or a special occasion.
Even in the worst of circumstances, there can be some good. This shawl was designed and woven at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in Nova Scotia. Things were shutting down, people were self-isolating, and there was no toilet paper to be found! On the flip side, there was time to step back and relax, to take a breath, to stop being busy, and to enjoy the little things, like the joy of weaving a silky shawl. Slow down and enjoy the peace of creating beauty from string.
About: Tammy Bast, aka The Rogue Weaver, has been weaving for nine years and is always looking for ways to make weavers’ lives easier!
