Using a wave stick lets you explore new patterns and designs by simply placing weft yarns in a specific way. As you beat, you create undulating patterns that sometimes look three-dimensional (as seen in some pattern examples below). There are a few guidelines to follow, but once you learn them, you can do just about any weaving using a wavy shuttle.
