LoginIt can be satisfying to weave with a firm beat, pushing the weft picks into place soundly. The resulting fabric makes a durable bag and shows off the color changes of a sock-style yarn.
This medium-sized bag was designed to take advantage of the full width of a 12" rigid-heddle loom. While weaving, pay close attention to keeping your selvedges even so the bag’s seams will be tidy. You will need to beat firmly to achieve the necessary 45 picks per inch. This is a great project for beginning weavers, capitalizing on their tendency to beat hard.
