One of the softest metals on the planet, gold inspired this sumptuously soft scarf that will make you feel like a million bucks.

Sometimes a project starts with a simple beginning—as simple as the name of a yarn’s colorway. Add to that the inherent visual and tactile qualities of the yarn, and the most fundamental desire to create emerges. For this piece, Judy was lured by the clever name Wish You Were Beer for a DK-weight merino/nylon blend with luminous gold tones by Emma’s Yarn. Warp ropes provide a bold textural element, and a simple pick-up pattern combined with spaced Brooks bouquet bundles highlights the texture of the ropes.
