LoginWeave a web as lovely as Charlotte’s on your rigid-heddle loom using a softly colored, slowchange yarn and a warp-float pattern. Just as friendship and words enriched Charlotte and those around her, weaving enriches our lives and the lives of our loved ones.
Charlotte’s Web by E. B. White inspired this scarf with its weblike weft floats on the front and warp floats on the back. In the story, Charlotte, a spider, befriends Wilbur, a pig. By befriending him and weaving an intricate design in her web, Charlotte saves Wilbur from a terrible fate. Charlotte explains to Wilbur, “I wove my webs for you because I liked you. . . . Perhaps I was trying to lift up my life.”
